Meet the Founder

Rob holds a bachelors degree in Physics, and a masters degree in Mathematical & Theoretical Physics both from Oxford University.

Rob has been tutoring professionally for over eight years, and has taught Physics & Mathematics at Universities in the UK and US. Outreach and widening participation is an endeavour close to Rob's heart; he regularly speaks to highschool age students about his research, and physics more generally.

Outside of his teaching work, Robert is a PhD researcher in particle cosmology who has collaborated on research projects ranging from dark matter interactions with supernovae neutrinos, cosmological phase transitions, and models of the Universe with warped extra dimensions. Rob has also spent time working in a plasma physics research lab at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).

Our son has been tutored by Rob for the last 8 months. We have been absolutely delighted by his professionalism, knowledge and teaching ability and cannot praise him enough.
