A Level Mathematics & Further Mathematics

1:1 Standard Rate: £55/hr

Mathematics is foundational to all University Engineering, Physics, Economics and Computer Science courses (to name just a few). Although Mathematics might be the definition of a 'theoretical subject', it is also a verb. We do Maths - it isn't enough to just read the books and understand the theory, you need to get your hands dirty and wade through the calculations yourself. 

You wouldn't expect to master the violin without having first broken a few strings & bows, and you shouldn't expect to master mathematics without putting in the hours of practice.

In our teaching we emphasize the importance of practice, and take care in setting problems for our students that will maximise their growth.
